Hello all,

The lights on the back of my nic card are these colors and I dont know why.

On top it stays light red, and on the bottom its blinking orange. Everything has been working fine like this for about 5 months. It says its running at 100MBPS and there are no errors. But im just curious of why its not green. The only thing I think it might be is that its plugged into a daisy chain hub. Any Ideas?

Thanks for all replies.

What kind of NIC is it? I thought orange was for 10mb, Green was for 100?

I guess it depends. Mine is red for link; green blinks for a collision response, or steady green to show Full Duplex; and orange to show 100.

Oh Cool,

I thought there was a standard. Green For 100, Orange for 10 and Red for Bad Connection. Ill check it out from the manufaturer.

Thanks
