I've recently been getting licensing messages that pop up on my domain controller. The message refers me to the App. Event Log which directs me to Admin Tools/Licensing. Here I'm finding various clients that are using IIS, unlicensed. I've visited some of these clients, checked to see if IIS is running but it is not. I was tempted to use the license manager to revoke all the licenses displayed for IIS, but I was chicken-$#|7. Anyone ever had this issue? All the violations show a last date used of 12/10/2004. My guess is that I must've loaded a patch or something that day which enabled IIS somehow?! Who knows. Your comments are appreciated.
