I have 2 servers in a farm. One of the servers is setup as the License server. The problem is that it appears the licenses are not being released back to the pool of available licenses when a user logs off.
I have been trying to use the Administrative commands that are explained in the License Admin Guide to troubleshoot. lmstat returns this: [Detecting lmgrd processes...]
Error getting status: Cannot find license file (-1,359:2 "No such file or direct
ory")
lmhostid returns this: The FLEXlm host ID of this machine is "001143ef4dab"
The server name is not 001143ef4dab should this be a concern?
I've been advised to uninstall and reinstall the License Manager Service. Any better ideas? If not, while I'm uninstalling/reinstalling no new connections will be allowed to Citrix right?
