license problems and ds problems

Have nw6 Border Manager 3.7, this server has 'hung' a couple of time lately. Now when it loads it says Novell BM license is not installed. It will not load proxy. I tried to do a dsrepair and it tells me to make sure nlslsp is loaded. I load it and it is already loaded. I try to load ds.nlm and it tells me AUTO FAIL. I have read a few tids and they say to replace a file, I cannot do this as I cannot log into the server (ds is not loaded), I cannot map a drive. HELP !!!

Hi,

Download JCMD from Novell and install it on the server. This will allow you to access the server files from the server.

There are also some other utilities you can use if you search Novell's support site. Toolbox has some nice tools in it too.

Well, your license issues are caused by your DS issues. Can you post what error messages you get when you try to load DS.NLM?

That's not the error message. that's just the status of the load attempt that happens to be visible on the screen between the brackets.

You need to switch to the logger screen (CTRL-ESC, Option 2) and see if you can see any additional error messages.
