We have three WIN2K servers and about 120 clients accesses these servers. I've bought 155 cals to access these servers and they are set as perseat. Why does the license manager say I'm over my limit for cals? It logs the clients access and the workstation access. Why is this? Do I need to buy more cals?

I have yet to see the LM work properly. We just shut the service off. As long as your legal you don't need to worry about it.

Thanks for the imput!

I've read about turning LM off. I'll give it a shot.
Do I have enough cals? Thats the main thing I'm worried about.

In a perseat network you need one cal for each computer that accesses any server.
