library to shut down windows 2

Hi all,

I'm a rookie in C++ Programming and look for a library/code to shutdown my operating system (w2k). (want to create a sleeper tool, that shuts down my pc after the minutes i specifiy in the dialog box).

What do you recommend?

But what libraries do I need to include? I'm working with Trolltechs QT 4.0.1 libraries. I don't think they've got any windows h/cpp files.

Can anyone help me on what libraries I need to include (do not have). I'm NOT using MS Visual Studio

I think this is an issue you shold take up in a trolltech specialized forum since the trolltec web states
"Qt/Windows uses the native Windows API and does not require any special additional libraries. ".

The functionality mentioned is exported through the User32.lib and is be part of the native API.
