Thank you for reply montezuma. I need access remotely, via telnet or hyperterminal.
I dont know why, but "speed editor" and "ldk pc admin" can log in to LG, and hyperterminal not..
Remote access, as in outside your LAN? Have you opened port 23 and pointed it to the address of the LANU (the address you connect with PCAdmin) on the router ?
It's unusual that you can't connect with HyperTerminal. I don't know.. Have you tried using a different program? Perhaps use PuTTY or something similar and see if that runs.
This is what I get with PuTTY - I run Windows 10, so I don't have HyperTerminal
The only other thing I could think it could be is that you have something like a firewall preventing you from opening port 23. I'm not sure what else it could be. Sorry I can't be much help.
What are you trying to do in HyperTerminal anyway? Asides from Maintainance mode (check board states, etc) there isn't a lot to do in there
Serial connection to LDK system is not an option for you ?
I'll do some looking around. Sorry again that I can't be much help. I'm not sure why you would be having trouble via Port 23.
Not that I know of. I've not heard of any such functionality to control ports open and closed on the LAN on the LDK system before. Have you attempted to reboot your system? PGM 450 - F15 will do System Reset
