Dear All,

I'm trying to upgrade a customer's premises with a new telephone system, amongst other things. They have an LG LDk24 (Nexer) PBX installed. Naturally, no documentation and no maintenance contract.

I am desperate for a hardware and programming manuals. Could someone please help?

Thanks in advance ..

Hi doktor,

Thanks for your response.

I am in the UK, the LDK-24 I have seems to be a V 1 (has a USB connection on top of the Ethernet ports).

Forgive my stupidity, but I couldn't find any details at the tail of your message to directly contact you on. Suggestions?

Thanks in advance ..

If you click on the users website at the bottom of his post (or her!) it takes you to an english part with an email address to contact.

Doktor,

I have e-mailed you directly. Grateful if you can respond at your earliest convenience.

This is a massive thank you to doktor. The documents you sent me have been gratefully received. I shall keep this thread updated with my progress so that knowledge can be share.

Hi doktor

I followed your advice and used Internet Exploder 6 and voila: login worked with the default username/password admin/admin.

Thanks to the manuals you supplied me, I got the Ringing hunt group back in place and the system now works as expected, with all phones ringing and any able to pickup the call.

I'm still working through the available options; it looks like this is quiet a nifty little system :)

Next stage: migrating this office to a full FreeSWITCH installation and onto a VoIP-based Soft Switch system. I'll keep you guys posted in that regard.

Final request: can you please e-mail me your recovery guides for restoring a locked LDK-24 back to factory default?

Thanks once again ..

Thanks for your status update.
Yes, the ipLDK-24 (Nexer) was featured up massively (like iPECS) during the time we had that product in our portofolio.
As the reference was Ericsson (now Aastra/Mitel) MD110 (and later MX-ONE) many features/ideas were added from that product.
So, you should find anlogue, digital and IP extensions, groups with welcome messages, queue messages, repeated queue messages, automated attendant (press 1 for sales, press 2 for service), calling profiles, voice mail with e-mail sending (iPECS)...
To carry out the rescue proceudre, you need the MFB board, otherwise it's not possible.
I hope that you have the VMIB (voice mail board installed), since this board gives the most facilities.
