Hello,

I have a LG Ipldk 100 double cabinet installed. Below is the current configuration,

Cab1
1-Dtib12
2-Slib12
3-slib12
4-slib12
5-brib
6-

Cab2
1-
2-slib12
3-
4-
5-
6-

This is how it has been set up for the last 2 years and everything has been working correctly until now. I have all the correct cards on the MPB to run a 2nd cab.

PROBLEM-
A constant clicking noise coming from the 2nd cabinet. This happens all the time on the 2nd cab when the Slib 12 or RGU are disconnected.

Has anyone experienced this before? What could be causing it? The main cab works ok still. Also the extensions on the 2nd cab still work but I fear they won't for long.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

It sounds like the power supply in the upper cabinet.
Still proper grounding of both cabinet could help (?). Also ferrite cores around every incooming or ougoing cable to/from the ipLDK-100 - also the power cable.

Ok thank you,

I will try swap the PSU around and see if it follows.

It sounds like it's coming from the back plain where the cards go, if that's any help?

The LCU cable between the two cabinets has an extra grounding cable included. Can you check if the grounding cable has been properly attached - in both ends.?
