Hi

Dial zero from any handset and whichever handset rings will be the main attendant.

From that phone you access the programming by pressing TRAN/PGM * #

Now we need to know exactly what you want to program. Can you explain your setup and we should be able to help.

Eats

Ok, Press Trans *#..... TRANS/PGM..... the transfer key?.......sigh!

eats4treats thank you very much for your concern..
I just want to change the extension number.. example ext. # is 201..i want to change it to 200... how to do it? I already entered in programming mode..but after that i dont know the next step...pls hlp...thanks...

So,

TRANS/PGM *#
TRANS/PGM 01
Press Flex Key 1
Now you should see the top row displaying ports and the bottom row showing the extension number associated to that port.
Theres 4 extension numbers on the display and flex key 1 relates to the first one, flex key 2 relates to the second one etc.
Press volume down to go to the next lot of 4 extensions if you need to.
Find 200 and 201 (Displayed on the bottom of the screen).
Press the flex key that relates to 200 and press speed. Should now display 3 dots.
Press the flex key that relates to 201 and dial 200.
Press Hold/Save
Press the flex key that RELATED to 200 and dial 201
Press Hold/Save
Press Monitor or Speaker depending on type of handset.

Ok, Press Trans *#..... TRANS/PGM..... the transfer key?.......sigh!

Guys thank you again.. where can i find flex key 1 eats4treats?
montyzumer thank you for your manual...but your manual is for gdk186... we are using gdk162... there is no problem if I use that also?

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...... THANKS FOR THIS WONDERFUL SITE...YOU GUYS HELPING SO MUCH...GOD BLESS

Hi

the GDK162 is a single cabinet and a GDK186 is a double cabinet so the manual Monty sent is correct for your system.

Depending on your phone model The flex keys are your soft keys that are either under the display or to the right of the display. They normally have your line keys and extension presence programmed under them. A Kd style handset has 12 or 24 keys under the display. Flex key 1 is the furthest left key on the top row. Flex key 2 is on the top row next to flex key 2 etc.

Ok, Press Trans *#..... TRANS/PGM..... the transfer key?.......sigh!
