Hi need some help with a Aria 20w system. I'm setting it up in a Community based radio station that I volenteer for. I've located different version of the PC Admin program and can't seem to find a password for the software.

I've got one more problem is that I'm puting one of the lkd-30d phones in the studio and want to turn off the ring on it and have visual display only when a call is placed through to the on air studio. The only thing I can think of is placing in park and then picking it up at on the studio. And leaving that ext on DND. But there must be a easier solution.

Thanks

The password for your LG Aria 20w, I do not know but to access the GDK admin program use "lgeadm".
I would disconnect the loudspeaker in the phone in the studio, since muted ring is not an option.

Thanks for you reply there doktor.

Have got the program up and running fine now but have seem to run into a other problem have connected the system to my computer thought a d9 cable first used a null modem cable then looking at manual found I needed to change it I have now made a cable according to instruction which are 3 cable linked right though on pins 2,3 and 5. I can't connect to the unit I've checked the admin password in the system there was none and have put in a 4 digit pin(just in case) Then I have checked the baud rate at both ends (9600) but keep on getting a error (027 on response from GDK).

Has anyone got any ideas??? [sadeyes]

sorry above error mesage should be - 027 no response from GDK

Pin 2, 3 and 5 should be straight through.
Before the configuration can be changed, the Com port should be Closed.
Set the data channel to 8 bit, 1 stopbit, No parity and 9600 bits/sec.
Make sure that you choose the if it is an GDK-16 or GDK-20W.

Check your MFB board - the board with the serial interface.
It should be fixed to the motherboard, as it can be a bit loose connected.
Do not remove boards with power on!!!!!!
Swich off the power first.

The GDK admin program prefers Windows 2000 or Win98. Maybe you can get it to work with XP, but not with Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Thanks for your reply doktor. Just wondering apart from the baud rate on the phone system (which I have st to 9600) and admin password is there any other setting in the system I need to turn on to be able to commucate with the aria 20w.

Still getting the 027 error from the software I've checked cable. (made a new one) I've look at and tryed most of the setting for the com port.

The System where i plug in has got a GDK-16 MFB. Is this the right type of card or has some one replaced it with something that is incompabtable with what I want to do???

The Pabx version number is LGE/NZ77P-3.0ag May 2002 for the Aria 20w.

Software is gswad-a.0cd . And am running on a windows XP

But have used or tryed other software as well. And as follows is a trace program report of one of the access attemps.

Hopefully someone can help as I'm really starting to get annoyed.

Thanks

LGE/NZ77P-3.0ag May 2002 is OK. Please check with [Trans/PGM] + 40 and write the result here. Ithin your s/w for GDK admin is too old. The GDK-20W (should be chosen i the GDK Admin program) is and OK system and it can run with the GDK-16 MFB.
I will check for the correct version of GDK- admin.

You need GDK Admin version gswad-a.0ci, which can be found here:

Look for » GDK-ADMIN A.0CI CORRECTO [3.896 KB]

It can run XP.

It can still be the MFU that is out of order. Try to use Hyperterminal or Tera Term and connect by 9600, 8,N,1.
Just hit enter and you should be promptrd for the logon data.
