I have a task to create letters that are send out to customers in Crystal Report XI Release 2 and also the data for the letter template comes from xml file. can anyone guide me on this on how to do.

What is the desired file format for the letter? How do you intend to send the letter (email, snail-mail)?

You can do whole letters using Crystal. Or you can do a specially formatted report that can be exported as a text file and then used as an extract file that can be used by MailMerge in Word, or maybe some system for e-mails. I've done all of these but can't advise until you are more specific about the problem.
