Anyone out there using a Lenovo T400 with a USB modem and trying to access any dialup sites via ASA? I recently had a Dell Laptop and that connected fine but the Lenovo has a USB modem w/drivers and I can connect with a switch (Audix as a test) through dialup in ASA but then I get garbage and no prompts for logging in - eventually it disconnects. Tried adding the modem type to "devices" but do not know what string to add. Other devices either respond the same way or just don't recongize the USB. Thoughts?

Note - I am able to connect on this USB Modem to a Prologix Switch and work just fine. I have tried multiple Audix systems and now I'm not even getting garbage...just a blue screen after it connects but after about a minute it disconnects...does not respond to me at all!

audix RMB can be tricky with newer modems. Try setting ASA for no error correction and try setting the baud at 2400 and some others.

Excellent! Setting that to "No Error Correction" did the trick. That is the only thing I didn't try before...doesn't that figure! Thanks much!
