The recent threads re: Legend R7 firmware updates prompts me to ask what were the fixes between v9.0 which we have, and the most recent v14.2? Aside from occasional unexplained glitches I am not aware of any major problems in our switches. We have three Legends networked, two of them are very busy machines. What improvements would/could there be in an upgrade?

Traditional thought would say that an "upgrade" is an improvement to the previous release. Since we are dealing with both software and hardware issues when we are discussing processor programming languages, the are numerous issues that are addressed in the upgrade from R7.0 -V9.0 to R7.0 - V14.2. SOme AVaya is willing to share with us having more to do with fixes with hardware conflicts, but I'm confident that there are additional "bug fixes" that are "resolved" in V14.2.
It does perform very well and we have done 100s of upgrades from R3.X to V14.2 without a hitch.
