I am running a daily scrap report from Access 2000 the problem is on my laptop I am able to open the report chart and view the legend to the right of the graph but when I try to open on any other computer other than mine the graph shows but the legend is not visible switching to design mode the graph will show up in the report I have downloade all updates from windows and office but nothing seem to help does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this visible on all machines

i have had this same problem. your problem could be that users have different screen resolutions on different machines. I usually set my machine to 800 x 600, because that's the "worst" it could be...then i adjust my screens and reports accordingly. As for charts, i find that i have to adjust the width so that there is a coupla inches of blank on the right side, otherwise it runs off the page for some computers, like you are describing. so try adjusting the width of your chart so that it starts on the left margin, with like an inch or two white space on the right. an additional option would be to make your legend some place else, and/or include the data table with the legend colors right in it. depends on how many items you have in the legend to how good any of those things will look.

hope this helps--g

Thanks for the help that was the problem
