Left handed mouse

When i use my Pc, i have to change the mouse to left handed every time, how can I change this permenantly? Is there a registry entry?

Open Control Panel - open the Mouse Applet and click left-handed should stay. Yes there is a registry entry but why not do it safely from the control panel.

On this occasion the applet isn't working. So I am looking for a registry entery to permanently change it.

The applet works for the current session, but doesn't change it permanently.
