Leave Mail Action on STILL QUEUED action hangs up

Working with a IP 500 on 4.2(14).

Have a Queued HG (with announcements) ringing 3 phones for 10 secs each, then overflowing to do the same 3 phones 4 more times. Voicemail timer is on 120secs. Everything works as expected except no matter how or where I try to get a LEAVE MAIL to work in the STILL QUEUED action, it just hangs up on the call.

+MENU "Please press 1 to leave a message instead of
holding"
-"1"
+ Play entry prompt and then Leave Mail action
for HG / mailbox specified in options.

When I press 1 I hear the entry prompt then VM Pro hangs up on me. I tried all kinds of things even removing the menu, but whenever I end on a Leave Mail action I get hung up on...

Oddly enough the voicemail timer on the HG works like a charm and the box works normally in that fashion.

I'm missing something... probably something dumb. Help oh Tek-tips IPO gurus.

Solving my own idiotic post.

Instead of clicking through the options in the LEAVE MAIL action (like I did), just TYPE the destination mailbox #. Works!

Yay!
