I am a UNIX sysadmin by trade but have just been upgraded to look after the whole infrastructure.
Project 1
A client is installing a leased line into our comms room to access our CVS server. I am unsure whether I have the hardware I need. As they are accessing only one network I think I only need a bridge (they should route their end). I haven't been given the bandwith of the pipe yet - is the termination (ie XC21/V35/etc) dependant on the bandwidth or should I specify? Should I be asking the client any other questions to facilitate all of this?
Cheers
James
