1) A solid understanding of how Crystal works in general, which you can get in several places.
2) Something that explains the key tables in Maximo and how they link together. This you may be able to get from your Maximo vendor or by looking at some existing reports (if you have any).
I have worked with Maximo a few times over the years and I doubt that you will find a specific class or book that combines these topics.
