Anyone notice a leap year (2/29/08) issue with the "month" setting using nsrmm to set the browse or retention date on a saveset ?

For backups created yesterday or today, I tried using nsrmm -S <ssid> -B month -E month and it sets the value to 2/29/08. Yet when I substitute 30days instead of "month" it correctly sets it to 3/1/08 or 3/2/08.

Is this a bug with Networker ? I'm running v7.4 SP1

If you run a backup today and check the browse and retention dates, you will see that the browse time (ssbrowse)refers to 02/29/2008 and the retention time (ssretent) to 01/31/2009. So obviously there is a minor problem here.

However, you may of course use absolute dates for your nsrmm command as well - so NW does not have the chance to mis-translate the relative period:

nsrmm -S ssid -w browse_date - e retention_date

yeah I know that about nsrmm, and in addition, using XXdays or XXweeks, etc, sets the date correctly. I didn't want to have to run this for every saveset we run each night. Hopefully starting with backups Friday night (2/1) the retention date will be calculated correctly by networker for backups that should have a month browse/retention
