LDK300 Maid status 1

Hi all,

I have a LDK300 system with hotel software.

The customer is trying to use the maid status (room clean/dirty) feature but to no avail.

Does anyone know the exact codes to use and when to use them??

IE: Can the 'room clean' status only be activated if the ext is checked out etc?

I have 56376* for clean and 56376# for dirty???

This is what the manual says about maid status for LG Hotel:

Description
This feature allows Maid or Attendant to update the maid status of room. At this time-updated maid status information is printed through RS-232C. Front-Desk can also see the maid status with room status feature.

Room status will be one of followings;
To Be Cleaned ( = DIRTY )
Cleaned ( = Ready For Guest )

Operation
To register "Cleaned" at a guest station by maid;

TRANS/PGM + 7*

1) Press [TRANS/PGM] button. And [TRANS/PGM] button flashes 60 ipm and [MON] LED lights steady.
2) Dial Code 7*. And Confirmation Tone is received and changed maid status of the room is printed through RS-232C.


To register "Cleaned" by attendant;

TRANS/PGM + #81 + Room Range + HOLD/SAVE

1) Press [TRANS/PGM] button. And [TRANS/PGM] button flashes 60 ipm and [MON] LED lights steady.
2) Dial Code #81. And Confirmation Tone is received.
3) Dial Room range. And Confirmation Tone is received.
4) Press [HOLD/SAVE] button. And rooms’ maid status is changed clean and confirmation tone is provided and changed maid status of rooms is printed through RS-232C.


To register "Dirty ( To Be Cleaned )" at a guest station by maid;

TRANS/PGM + 7#

1) Press [TRANS/PGM] button. And [TRANS/PGM] button flashes 60 ipm and [MON] LED lights steady.
2) Dial Code 7#. And Confirmation Tone is received and changed maid status of the room is printed through RS-232C.

To register "Dirty ( To Be Cleaned )" by attendant;

TRANS/PGM + #82 + Room Range + HOLD/SAVE

1) Press [TRANS/PGM] button. And [TRANS/PGM] button flashes 60 ipm and [MON] LED lights steady.
2) Dial Code #82. And Confirmation Tone is received.
3) Dial Room No range. And Confirmation Tone is received.
4) Press [HOLD/SAVE] button. And rooms’ maid status is changed dirty and confirmation tone is provided and changed maid status of rooms is printed through RS-232C.

Condition
1. Maid status is automatically set "Dirty ( To be cleaned )" after check-out has been done by System Attendant.
2. To see specific one room’s maid status, use check-in feature and to print and see rooms’ maid status use printing room status feature.
3. Format of printed maid status of rooms through RS-232Cis as follows.
// 0100 Clean 01/12/29-14:20
// 0102 Clean 01/12/29-14:20
// 0103 Clean 01/12/29-14:20

I had this issue also. It was a software problem and we upgraded to a later version of C.9 hotel which fixed it.
