Hi

When we have heavy rains our secretary switchboard (24 button) displays the error "DCOB Fault" and any calls to her extension says "Number Vacant".

Is this to do with wires getting wet or is it to do with our incoming ISDN lines that goes down? (We have a wireless ISDN based uplink to the Telco.)

Thanks in advance

Johan

DCOB fault indicates that there is no connection between your LDK-300 and the public exchange.

As you wrote:
" is it to do with our incoming ISDN lines that goes down"
-->yes.

Your radio link can also be interrupted by trees, ships or cars passing through the radio line of sight...

Thanks Doktor
Am I correct that this will only show on the first Switchboard? It does not show on the other switchboard when this error occurs.

Also, is there a way to turn of the error sound the switchboard makes when this error occurs? They currently just unplug it because of the constant noise.

Thank you very much.

Regards

Johan

Press 565 for "Alarm Reset".
Alarms will only be shown on the main attendant phone.
