I have multiple sites set up in a WAN/VPN configuration using broadband (cable/adsl) connections. Our Exchange 2000 Server is setup to allow POP3 connections through the VPN, which allows the end user to enjoy a quicker response when using Outlook.
One thing I have noticed however is that the LDAP Address Book is pointing back to our Exchagne Server at corporate. Many times, when the user brings up the Address Book, Outlook just freezes, as if there is not even a connection there. However, there is indeed a connection as I can send mail a second before trying to bring up the Address Book.
Is there any way I can speed up whatever is causing the Address Book to freeze upon launching?
TIA!!
