hi again

putting 2 mobile operators onto a IPO500 v4.07.

What are the lCR codes I should use to route via these ISDN connections?

thanks

Do you have some mobile number which route to one carrier and another set to another?

If so its probably easier to create 2 tabs (As you have mentioned LCR and NOT ARS)

Name 1 as your Carrier 1
Name 2 as your Carrier 2.

then its probably best you use the mobile complete number.

ie

SC Mobile Number
Tel Prefix then Mobile Number
Feature Dial
LG ISDN Channel Line group.

If your doing this by different lines
remove the prefix from the Tel part and change the LG number.

Hope I understood your thread correctly.

Thanks Provider

I should have been clearer, I am used to using LCR on other systems, haven't used ARS on Avaya yet.

We have 2 mobile operators with prefix 086xxxxxxx and 087xxxxxxx. I have 2 ISDN lines for 087 and 1 for 086. Each line has 2 sim cards, so 4 x 087, 2x086.

I haven't got dial 9 enabled for outside trunk, but am strongly considering it, see previous thread today.

Would like if user dials 087xxxxxxx use trunk route x, or 086xxxxxx use trunk route x. All other calls or overflow use trunk route 0 (ISDN from operator)

Hope this makes sense this time, thanks

Ok so put these two trunks in seperate Outgoing line groups.

Example

086xxxxxxx Line group 2
087xxxxxxx Line group 3

Then in LCR.

sc 086xxxxxxx
Tel 086xxxxxxx
Feat Dial
LG 2

sc 087xxxxxxx
Tel 087xxxxxxx
Feat Dial
LG 3

there is no lcr in 4.0
you need to use ars (if you want to)
make shortcodes and point them to ars form 50 (main form)
alternative routes can be made in a new form

but you could just only use system shortcodes for this
only thing is to watch out for is mailfunction of the gsm gateway
