I have a set of analogue trunk lines that go into lcko mode on there own. when this happens, you can not use these lines unless you DISC and ENLC the cards were these lines are. What couldbe a permanent solution. <<PLESES SOS>>

Are these loop start trunks and has your timer for busy tone disconnect been set up to break the calls down in a timely manner?

Or they could possibly be ground start with the pairs reversed. Either way I would also check the timers.

Are they LOOP start or GRound Start?

Make sure you have your Tunk data block programmed the same as the Telco. LOP/GRD

You should use Ground start trunks in a Nortel PBX.

There are set as loop start but am not sure about the telco settings. I will check right away and make changes. THANX A LOT

if you put a butt set on the trunk and go off hook and get dial tone they are loop start.. if you get battery and put a quick ground on the tip side of the line then get dial tone they are ground start.. if your programed for loop and can dial out, they are loop

loop is never a good choice in a pbx.. in the route answer supervision no and ndec/fdec eth.. that will help, but loop start trunks will lockout, then rls, at best
