Hi!

We are trying to open some files that were created in Quark Passport 4.1 for Mac on our PC, which runs Quark Passport 5.0. The files were created with several different layers using the Layer.it plug-in. These layers are not visible when opening them in our version of Quark Passport. Does this mean that we will only be able to open them on the older version of Quark and with the correct plug in? Or could it be a Mac to PC conversion problem?

Thanks for your help!

It is not a Crossplatform issue.....
Make sure the layers are not shown as hidden in QuarkXPress 4.0, when QuarkXPress 5.x opens this file, it does not understand what *hidden* means. So it parses the layer as a text box (or as a picture box) and displays and prints it.
