I like the way this looks and it seems pretty simple. There is a downloadable version that works perfectly.
The tutorial is a little hard to follow, but I am getting it.
I agree with the way the fireworks looks. It hasn't changed much since FW3, so thanks for the option!!!

Hi Kirderf!
The tutorial does need some "better way" of explaining things...my laziness does not allow me to write a better one than in the link above but if u follow it u'll be OK....
If ur new to the conpet of "timelines"....then simply ignore the OnMouseOvers-rollovers and try to focus on timeline JS part of it.
I have tested this on Mozilla based and IE browsers....works like a dream.....now, only if FW lovers would see the Power of DW ;-)
All the best!
Hi Lebisol!
Wow, you created that tutorial! Thats even better yet!
Good graphics, and thanks for the download version.
I am working side by side with the download, tutorial and my own working version. In the behaviors I am having problems assigning "OnMouseOut" events.
It seems like the default is always "OnMouseOver"
There should be something that I am missing here.
I could change it in the code, but what fun is that?

"...my laziness does not allow me to write a better one than in the link above but if u follow it u'll be OK...."
= I did NOT make that tutorial! but thax
....I was saying:
IF I take my time I can perhaps explain it better for those users that have little experience with JS+ TimeLines in Dreamweaver!
IF u get the OnMouseOver then all u have to do is use Behaviors tab to adjust it to whatever behavior u want.....in process of it all it does look confusing since it seems that u have "duplicates" of the same (onMouseOver)behaviors.....
My suggestion is that u drop the "rollover" aspect of it and try to get only the "timelines" and plain images -part going.....do it a few times and ones ur familiar with the JS generated then u can easier tweak it later -as u add rollovers or perhpas flash buttons.
speaking of which: u could stick flash buttons and movies in the DW and then use DW timelines on top of layers for effects.....u get the idea.
If ur still having problems perhaps I can make u a video tutorial of it...anyhow, you are on the good path!
All the best!
