Hello All,

I'm new to this ASP. So pardon me if this is a silly question.

Is it possible to launch Excel Application on the Client PC from an ASP page and show some .xls file if the client doesn't have Excel Installed in his PC???? Excel is installed in the Server but not on the Client PC's. Now is it possible for the client to see .xls file in Excel APplication launched on their PC.

Thanks
Sridharan

ah...no. Could you make the xls file a csv file and then output the info from that?

...what rhymes with month?

The client only needs excel viewer I believe to view a excel doc. besides it shouldn't matter if you run the excel applications off the server. The client views and can edit (with the given scripting) data at will.
