I would like to launch two versions of the volume control at start up. I have a shortcut to "sndvol32.exe" in the startup folder which launches the "Volume Control", but I would like to add a second shortcut to launch the volume control for my headset "Speaker".

I know that I can launch the "Recording Control" with the command line "sndvol32.exe /r" . . .

Is there a commmand line switch for launching the other volume controls?

(It will be a lot better than having to enter the control panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > etc eveytime I start the computer)

I have answered my own question...

SndVol32.exe [-R | -D n]

-R
Starts the application in record mode.
-D n
Specifies a device identifier.

The command line switch "/D n" will open other volume controls.

So, for my headset the command line is "sndvol32.exe /d 1
