Does anybody have any hints/tips on 70-297 since thread468-1028485?

I'm hoping to take it in the next month or so, and finally complete my MCSE.

I passed this a few weeks ago with 839. Pretty much luck, some years of experience, and using the MS Press book. As pointed out in other threads, one thing that helped me was to read through all of the questions first before answering any. Some later questions would point to the expected answers for previous questions. Also remember to do things the Microsoft way, not the real-world way :-)

It is a very broad test as the materials say, so you have to be prepared for anything. I think the MS Press book gives a good idea of the scope of the test, but without experience and/or other test materials I don't think that book alone would help someone pass.

Thanks crobin1. I think there's a long time to go before I even consider booking mine, following a score of 517 the first time I used the transcender a few minutes ago.

jrbarnett,

The most useful tactic I've found in passing Microsoft exams is to eliminate the wrong answers from the possible answer choices.

Careful reading of the question is key, since a single word (like not) can change the whole meaning of the question.
