Latest Microsoft Security Update Breaks RAS 1

The latest MS Security update released this week breaks dial-up networking (PPP) to S8xx0 RAS access. If you routinely use PPP to connecto to your (or your customer's) S8xx0 servers then WAIT until either Microsoft or Avaya figures out how to resolve this issue before applying the updates.

From Avaya:

[If you have already applied the patches,] get you IT
group to remove them and you will work correctly
again. ... Removing the fixes also removes your network
setting address so make sure you have them before
removing the fixes as they will have to be put back in
after the remove.

Got it, it's KB911280. Uninstall and all is OK.
