We are trying to determine wht the feature "Last party clear"(Under system options/timers)on SX 200s is on an SX 2000.

Can you tell me what the docs say that feature does on a 200? Then I can tell you if there is anything similar on a 2000. Otherwise I can look it up when I'm back in the office Tuesday, I really need to install Folio Views here at home. I also really need to brush up on my 200's, I may start working on more of them at the office.

There is no "last party clear dialtone" option on the SX2000/3300. It is always on. I had never noticed this before, but I can't find anyway to turn it off! It is interesting that this is an option for the 200, but not the 2k. So if you have a device that needs the hangup tone for a disconnect, you'll be OK!.

Miteltech, this feature gives you dialtone back if the other party in your call hangs up first. On the 200 it needed to be enabled for a lot of analog voicemails to be able to tell if the call had cleared down because the PBX did not provide any disconnect supervision.

Ahhh, I'm in the same boat as you mitelman, I've never noticed it before as it's always there. Guess it's something I've taken forgranted.
