The /var/adm/wtmp is not logging the current logins. the last command shows that it last logged in Feb. What can I do to reactivate this?

I have fixed this problem.
I made a backup copy of the /var/adm/wtmp and /var/adm/wtmpx. Then I /dev/null the original files and tested it by signing on to the system.
It is now logging correctly.
