Laser Printer and Report Issues

We see a problem on our reports when we use a black background and white letters. The laser does not print the letters, just a black box. It works fine on the ink jets, just not on the laser.

Anyone know a workaround ?

No - but here are some ideas...

Is the black background the background colour of the text or is it a separate black rectangle?

Does it work with pale grey letters?

Does it work with a dark grey background?

Check to see what you set the Opaque / Transparent property for the box.

What version and SP level of VFP is this?

Some printers are not capable of printing white on black. A change of the printer driver may fix this.

Black background - not a black rectangle
