I use a Lasat Safire 560 Voice modem. With it I connect to our NT-network through RAS.
The time-out option for inactivity is disabled on the RAS-server and is set to 2 hours on my side.
When connected to our network (RAS) I connect to our unixservers through a program called winlink (ansi-emulator).
There are no "disconnect if idle" function in the program as far as I can see.
This setup kicks me out every 15 minutes, because the modem gets disconnected.
What have I done wrong? Is there some built-in inactivity function in the modem?
If anyone have any ideas let me know.
