We create our documents to trim size in quark and pull our bleeds off the edge of the page. We then print to an imagesetter with registration turned on to add our cut marks. My problem is I need to have some art (color bars etc) about an inche away from the cut marks. If I rotate my page and place this art on the left I am fine. The problem is we have a huge archive of vertical art which we need these color bars on the bottom. Quarks pasteboard stops about .5 inches from the bottom of the page. Anything placed below this gets dropped off. Is there a way to increase the pasteboard size to allow several inches BELOW the page.

Markzware have a free XTension on their site called Paste Board XT. I don't know if it's available for Quark 6, but it's available for every version previous to that.

When it's installed, it appears under Utilities (Pasteboard Settings...) and you can adjust the height. There were problems with earlier versions of the XTension which made it difficult for others to open the files, but that has been fixed by now.

I checked the site. The extension currently is only available up to 5.x (no 6.x support) We use both versions, so I may be out of luck for now. thanks for the info. It sounds like exactly what I need (just not for Quark 6).
