Large Report Into Multiple PDF's

Im very new to business objects, and have just be giving a large task that im not really sure how to do.

i have a report that runs based on an empID. under empID there are x number of projects. i know its no big deal to make a report that will do this and gen. one large pdf. but i want to create individual reports based on project. something like:

empID
- Project1 <---create pdf
- Project2 <---create pdf

ive been told about creating a macro, but thats it. does anyone have any suggestions or maybe point me to something that would give me a starter lesson on creating macros and how they interact with business objects?

If you are licensed t ouse the SDK, then you can get the documentation you need from the tech support site. What you want to do is not terribly difficult. You simply need a program that loops through the emp_ids, filters the report, and saves as PDF.
