I am new to LDAP so I only know the basics. I have some groups which have many users - over 1000, and the ldap clients cannot resolve the group names. i.e if it try to chgrp groupname filename it fails with uknown group but if I chgrp gid filename it works ok. This only happens with groups with a large number of users. Help
