Has anyone used Acrobat/PDFs for High Resloution on Press printing or for prepress work? I'm doing testing and wonder if anyone has any advice.

Hi,
I make magazines (weekly, monthly) and all our output for the printer is PDF. Although I'm not a specialist on Acrobat I worked around my problems in several ways.
If you have any particular questions I will be happy to answer them, if I can.
By the way I'm a Mac user
