Laptop Remote Desktop issue

I need to connect to office desktop using remote desktop via VPN. I could connect from home desktop easily. Using my laptop I was not able to access the remote desktop even after successful VPN connection.

It is a latest Dell laptop with XP pro.

Please help

Have you set your hosts file up properly?

what is the status of the connection - enabled or connected?
