I've heard that I could possibly configure my nt4sp5 server (using Microsoft mail)to allow users on my LAN to use outlook (or Outlook Express) e-mail on the LAN only without having to install something like Exchange. We have no internet connection. Could someone please tell me how this is done?
Thank you!

the feature you are talking about is called Microsoft Mail. This will give you inter-office mail without access to the internet. This feature is located in the control panel. However it is not in my Server control panel. It is on my NT Workstation Control panel. Once in there you can either create a new posoffice or edit an existing one.

Thanks for the help Deklin! [smile]
Do I just create one post office on one pc and connect to it from the other pc's on the LAN? Or does each PC have its own post office?

You created one postoffice (Directory) i placed this directory on my server. Then i setup microsoft mail from all of my workstations. I setup microsoft mail within outlook 2000. Deklin [yinyang]
