I just wanted to check to see if anyone has come across a solution to people with screen pop technology to work with the new Windows 10 and 64 bit machines and the BCM?

Some of the software out there is centralized so the workaround has been to install a virtual XP machine and send the info to that machine for processing.

In other cases, each machine previously had a TAPI client and in the cases of these people upgrading their computers around the office, so far it's a no go?

The solution has been to replace the BCM with an Avaya IP office which does have a Tapi that works with the newer windows.

I just wondered if someone has a hardware or software solution to retain the BCM and it's applications in place as quite a few taxi companies have these in place.

I am curious as to whether some smart C language programmer could actually write a tapi app for it, since others manufacturers are still capable of having tapi deployed on these new machines?

Comments?

Can the TAPI software be run on a version of Windows later than XP with the properties set to run as Windows XP etc?

I've had it run on windows 7, but once it's a 64 bit machine it won't run any more.

Just wondered if there's anyone who's come up with either a hardware or software solution?
