lag in vpn traffic

I am getting this srror on my vpn router, pings are working fine, however, any other traffic has mysteriously slowed down. Router is a 2650 being used as a router on a stick, plugs into a pix 515, and a cat 4506 internal.

the error I am getting is:

just started a few days ago, no changes to the system, im a little stumped on this one.

Cisco site points to an invalid SA due to differences in SA aging or invalid packets received... Have you tried clearing SAs?
