Should I be able to get fiber connectivity between an older Catalyst C2950-24 switch and a new C2950SX-24? The old switch is just 100 Mb and the new is rated at 1000 Mb on the fiber ports. I have the ports (#25) enabled on both switches, and I can see light on the new switch and acoss the jumpers and fiber toward the old swtich. However, I can not get connectivity on the old fiber swtich port. What am I missing or is it not compatable?

No this won't work - 100BaseFX and 1000BaseSX are completely different standards - you would need either 100BaseFX or 1000BaseSX on either end of the link.
