Short Answer : No. Std rate flag is included into the Actual Rate flag in Ellipse.
Rather Long Answer :
These fields had their functionality changed around December 2000 under an internal work order MI6771. You should talk to your local Mincom Support group about this work order in particular. Also this information below is available on the Mincom Customer Support web site, talk to your local support if your customer does not have access.
Work Order MI6771
Problem
When timekeeping (maintaining start/stop) transactions for
an employee that has two or more records for the day, it is
necessary to labour cost these records individually. The
user wants to be able to labour cost all records for a day
at the same time by just labour costing the first record and
have the total hours for the day display on the labour
costing screen. It is also necessary to flag all the
records for the day as having been costed.
Solution.
To enable this to be achieved, and still be able to retain
the existing method of processing, a new flag has been
introduced in the district controls on the
MAINTAIN T & A / LABOUR COSTING CONTROLS screen (MSM00JC).
What were two seperate (mutually exclusive) flags
'Actual Rate Labour Costing' and 'STD Rate Labour Costing'
have been combined into the one 'Actual Rate Labour Costing'
flag, and the 'STD Rate Labour Costing' flag renamed to
'Whole Day Labour Costing'.
If 'Whole Day Labour Costing' is set to 'N' then the
existing method of processing (one record at a time) is
retained.
Note1: 'Whole Day Labour Costing' is only relavent when
'Actual Rate Labour Costing' is flagged as 'Y'.
Note2: When this change is installed onto a clients machine
it will be necessary for the user to maintain the District
Controls for these flags to ensure they are set
appropriately.
Note3: When 'Whole Day Labour Costing',
A limitation exist such that if the first record is
flagged for labour costing but one or more of the subsequent
record(s) for the day is/are not, then the total hours for
the day will be displayed for labour costing, but only those
subsequent records flagged to be labour costed, will be set
to show that they have been labour costed.
This change is only available for existing MIMS-OE 4.3.1.2
clients requesting changes made under WO MI6771, or new
or upgrading clients receiving Ellipse 5.2 from baseline
52b onwards.
