I used the Label Wizard to create my labels, with the data source being a query. The data gets into the report fine, but I can't edit where each label goes in the report. I'm thinking that there's no way to do this. Anyone know?
JERRY - Each time I use this, I'll probably be printing like one or two labels at a time; therefore, each time I print, the label will need to be positioned in a certain spot so to not print onto an area of the label paper that has already been used. Like in Word, where you can scroll down the page and select which label you want to print out. (Otherwise, we'd be using only the first label off of each page of labels, etc.)
There is no easy way to do this in Access. Since you have word, you can link the DB to Word to get the record you want to print the label you need with easier control over placement. I'm not saying it's impossible in Access, it would just be extremely difficult and would require code.
Kin Getz and Mike Gilbert have a code in their book "Access 2000 Developer's Handbook".
I will not post it here because it is copy writed but buy the book and you can use it.
A lot of code and help is well presented in their collecton.
