I have an L700 with IBM LTO3 FC installed. There are two drives in the library that although they are LTO3 on the operator panel they show as LTO 1 does/has anyone seen this of knows what the answer is please?

We have seen this also (an L700 LCD showing IBM LTO3's as LTO1's). It is likely an LTO firmware issue. The backup app is using the LTO3 driver though and something like the expected ammount of data is being written to tape, so it seems there is nothing to worry about...
