ok...I had a 4 GB HDD, and I bought a 20 GB HDD...

I also just got a KT&A-RAID mobo...and I mirrored the info from the small drive to the larger drive so that I would have it on the large drive...however...now when I try to loko at the large drive in windows...it shows it as only 4 GB...

I am running Windows ME...so I could not just go into DOS and try to do a format of the large drive...

I want to reverse that mirror or get rid of it...I do not care about losing the data on the large drive because I have the info on the small drive...

Anyone know how to resolve this dillema?

when using a raid setup you are best with two hard drives the same size.it made a mirrored of the 4 gig hard drive so the second hard drive shows the same.it will read the smaller of the two and make the other the same size.also you can format the large hard drive under windows once you remove the raid setup.my guess is you may have to reinstall windows.
