While analysing CPU utilisation, I see that kproc processes
take upto 70-80 % of CPU time, is this enough evidence that
CPU is really busy uotp 80%. Does anyone know what kproc
processes mean.
 

kproc is a stupid way of keeping the processor busy when there's nothing else to do. Don't worry about it but complain to IBM if you think it's stupid.

It is the kernel's idle process. PID is always 516 in AIX v4.
