Hi guys there an hacking attempt recently on port445 on win2K can you tell me how this guy get the access I mean which tool is it tell net or is it costumise tool that he use I want to understand and also if you wana secure the server just block the port but how about the sharing thing

There are all sorts of ways a hacker can attack your server
using any port - yes telnet is one of them, but there are loads of tools out there - also many trojans and worms will attack specific ports or hackers will scan many ports looking for vulnerabilities.
